4. Fertilization (for Embryo Freezing):

The eggs and sperm are combined in a laboratory dish to facilitate fertilization. In cases where there are concerns about sperm quality or quantity, Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI) may be used, where a single sperm is directly injected into an egg.

5. Embryo Culture (for Embryo Freezing):

The fertilized eggs (now embryos) are cultured in a controlled environment for several days. The embryologists monitor their development, selecting the most viable embryos for freezing.

6. Freezing:

Embryos, eggs, and sperm are carefully frozen using vitrification, a rapid freezing technique that prevents ice crystal formation and ensures high survival rates. The specimens are stored in liquid nitrogen at -196°C, where they remain viable for many years.
